Default My new G5420T

Here's my new 5420, "Carmen". Sorry the low-rez pic doesn't do her much justice; she is a Cadillac Green beauty with flawless workmanship (except for the bridge base fit), and fretwork par excellence. I'm waiting on a Space Control bridge to put on a pro-line ebony base I have, I want to twang-out those Blacktop Filters to the max! (My Epi Swingster handles the swing/Chet/Scotty sounds.) Other than that, the only mods I have in mind right now are a Axemasters brass nut and a 1" Bigsby spring. Oh yeah, the first thing I added was the treble bleed mod to the master volume...

Musician's Friend got a special run (in Caddy Green) made in advance of their "official release". I usually don't buy instruments sight-unseen, but I'd heard great things about the new Electros and decided to take the chance. I'm glad I did this time.

Lovely lovely, for sure that one was too good to miss

Electromatics really have shifted up a gear or maybe two with these new models.

Congratulations
