Default Blue Synchromatic project

I've had this Junior Jet body for several years, but recently found a NOS Synchromatic Blue Sparkle neck to go along with it. So I'm repainting the body and neck in blue sparkle, adding Dream 90s and a stop tail. Here's the beginning.

That blue sparkle under a high gloss coat will be killing - really to my taste.
I would chose chrome hardware and pickups, and maybe a B-5/B-50 Bigsby.
Good start for a one of a kind !

Jim, how are you applying the paint ? spray(rattle) can or a paint spray gun ? it looks good so far, by the way.

I am planning on chrome parts with white pearloid pickguard, access covers and in the GFS Dream 90 pickups.

I was originally planning on a stoptail, but now am thinking of a Bigsby.

We think alike.

Spray lacquer in a rattle can from ReRanch, except the blue is from an auto detailing place.
Thanks.

A few weeks yet as I'll have to do the clear coats after the blue and then let it sit for awhile before the rubout.

(That'll let me get started on my Astro Jet and Corvette Baritone!)

Finished the color coats and removed to see where I missed. I've got some touch up to do before the clear coats can begin. Hope to get those done this weekend. It's hard to show off the blue colors on both the body and headstock. The body is blue sparkle, all blue with metallic sparkles. The headstock is black base with blue sparkle pain over it, so it looks darker, less blue. There'll be some blue on the fretboard when it's all done. (Secret!)
