I have one of the old 5129's with a fixed bridge and large f holes. Is it normal for the bridge post inserts to sit loosely in their holes such that they are held in place by string pressure? The situation does not seem to cause any problems but, since I've been thinking of selling the guitar, I'm wondering if others would think of it as a problem anyway. If a floating bridge is okay, they why not this? The wide top parts of the inserts (flanges?) sit firmly on the top of the guitar. If you own an old fixed-bridge 512# series (which I call the "classic" series

) please check your guitar and tell me if it was made the same way. The bridge rocks with Bigsby use, so it's a rocking fixed bridge. Are all the old 512#'s like this?
