Its kind funny how fitting a sparle pickguard on my 5120 has led to this. I'll post more piccies when I pick it up later this week.

Meantime I gotta get Mrs UD flowers/chocs/wine etc.

Very nice. Is that a custom paint job? Either way, I like it. Is the headstock painted also?

This is the G5126, which came with the silver sparkle as a standard finish, along with the Dearmond coils. The headstock is standard e-matic black.

There were a few variations, including white, black, powder blue, gold sparkle and firebird red.

All were discontinued (as I inderstand it) when Dearmond stopped making coils. There are variations in early/late models, with differences in f-hole shape, and bridge style, but they're all great guitars. I've been looking for one of these for a while now, and this one came up only 10 miles away! It must have my name on it.

Picking it up Wednesday. Seems this one is unplayed, bought for decoration. Glad to be giving it a new home

There's more info and pictures of the range here-
