Default Any good tuners fit 5120's without reaming?

I just cant bring myself to ream out the tuning holes for the locking tuners. Im absolutely terrified. Even though I know I could do it lol. Are there any other better tuners that would fit those holes? These stock tuners are starting to bug me a bit. They arent awful, but I also have 2 strats with great tuners on them so im spoiled lol

The 5120 has good tuners. The Grover Sta-Tites 18:1 are good too.

What is bugging you about the tuners? If you are having tuning issues it is usually a nut or bridge issue. You could hang all of your weight on a worm gear and it wouldn't move (though the post might shear off )

agreed. Slippage in the stock tuners is rare. The culprit is usually either improperly wound strings or an improperly cut nut.

Its not like crazy annoying or anything. Just after playing a song or two, I have to go through and get it back in tune. If it was overly bad i wouldnt have hesitated on reaming for locking tuners, so its not too bad. Im just a perfectionist lol. It just slips a bit. Ive thought about the new nut. Or getting a compton bridge

I put a Compton on my 5120 and some nut sauce on the bridge and nut slots. Much improvement for staying in tune, not perfect, but much better. Replacing the nut is the next on my list, then/maybe, new tuners.
I wasn't sure where I'd end up when I googled "nut sauce"....It's safe, at least on the 1st page.

Agree with what the others have said. I would go after the nut first. You can check if the strings are binding in the nut by alternately bending the strings lightly on both sides of the nut while plugged into a tuner. A little bit of graphite, nut sauce, chapstick, etc. will cure a minor problem, and some filing/sanding of the nut slots if the lubricant doesn't work.

Tuners would be the last thing I would suspect. Even on the cheapest Squiers I own the tuners are fine and any tuning problems disappeared with a little work on the nut. For me the only reason to change tuners is to make string changes easier.
