You can buy them new, in A class conditon for £390.

I got mine from GAK for £390. They price matched the best internet deal.

It's a poor deal for a B stock model

Which Jet did you get from GAK for £390? They stock the one I mentioned above for £424 which is almost the same price as Thomann (their non-B stock ones are £426). The thing to remember with Thomann B-stock is that it doesn't mean there is necessarily anything wrong with the guitar, it may be something as trivial as all the original packaging missing. Anyone interested would have to check the specific details.

Just thinking in these times of recession £24 discount might mean the difference between someone getting one and not...

Don't work for Thomann BTW but I have had some good experiences with them, in the same way you may have had with GAK.

I don't know. You would need to contact Thomann for the reason in these specific instances...

I agree that it's worth checking with Thomann wrt the specifics, but in Thomann's case B-Stock usually means a returned item.

I've bought B-stock PA equipment as well as a bass cab from them, but I would hesitate to buy a returned guitar from them.

Of course, to paraphrase Kierkegaarde, the important thing is not to be a guitar's first owner, but the last. ;-)

YMMV

Best,

Ii have the single cut, black pro jet with black top Filtertrons.

I found the best deal online, and got GAK to price match. Most retailers will match best online price.
