Default Big problem with my 5126

So I bought my g5126 at gc for 300 bucks. When I bought it I know the neck had been repaired before and it seemed ok. So after a while I took it to a luthier to get a setup and apparently when they fixed the neck they super glued the Truss rod so to fix it it would run me 400-600 if they don't hit any snags. So I'm omw tomorrow to return my 5126 and start looking for another gretsch. Kinda blows but what are u gonna do.
