This is Atlas Amp Stand's, and maybe the world's, first sunburst with rack space and fold out pedal board solid curly maple amp stand built for a DR... it took a while but it was worth it!

Wrapped up this Atlas Low Rider Amp Stand today, it's spooky lightweight, walnut, and strong enough to hold any guitar rig ever made

Here are the latest Atlas Amp Stands completions from this past weekend.
The first is a basic two-tone Low Rider with blue LEDs so that the owner can find his rig when the stage lights are down. It has a Cherry base and a Walnut backrest. It'll be holding a Marshall DSL401. The LEDs run on two AAA bats and will easily last several days without needing to be changed. I put my '68 Ampeg Reverberocket II on it and now I'm wishin' it was mine. lol
The second build is a matching pair of Cherry Amp Chassis Cradles for an Amp Tech/Builder out of Canada. The front tray is for his tubes, components and building tools. I seriously hope each and every handwired guitar amp that he builds on them finds its way to a worthy owner, and once again I find myself wishin' they were mine
Kind Regards,
Josh

Depends on size, wood type, front tray configuration etc. These Cherry ones went for under 200 each. Some woods cost that much by itself.
Takes about three solid days to build and another half day to box up...not easy.

They are glued up as well as fastened with screws for super strength. Nobody wants a hand wired tube amp to take a tumble. Ouch!
Nice website btw! I like it!

Actually, cherry is my preference. It won't be happening right away but if certain gear I have for sale should ever move . . .

One thing is for sure, if you are going to do any amp work a stand like this is priceless. The last time I swapped tubes in my Twin the biggest hassle was supporting it on the bench when setting the bias.

I totally agree with you Synchro. I struggled through a recap on my RR and will never go through that again. When I build myself one it will be made of Oak, like this one I did a while back, I fell in love with it...

Thanks again, I didn't think I would like it as much as I did until after the stain went on it. I used English Chestnut by Minwax and it turned out to be something I really like. I'm not as keen on the reddish woods but I really dig the earthen browns. I'm not usually a big fan of Oak, but that one really turned me.
