Titanium Compton Briges
I have had some interest in another batch of the Titanium bridges. They cannot be run unless there is a minimum order from me to my CNC shop of 10 bridges. The Titanium bridges will be made with the 2.9 inch post spacing and choice of 9.5" or 12" radius. This will be another pre-pay type order and the cost will be $125 with S&H included to US or Internatioinal buyers. The waiting period from the time I place my order to the CNC shop can be up to 30 days. If anyone is interested please send me an email. Thanks to all and I will keep everyone updated on progress of the Titanium orders on this thread.

They are well worth the money in my experience. The clarity and complexity of the sound are incredible.

Hi Wayne, mail sent!
I am more than happy with the brass bridge on my Falcon and I expect the titanium could give an extra edge in sound and sustain.

Falco: Thank you very much and I have all your information saved. When we get 9 more pre-payed the order will be on its way.

....and you would be right. I upgraded from a brass CCC to a Titanium one, on my Electromatic 5120. While I liked the brass one, it was a little to mellow sounding for my tastes. The Titanium one just adds to every aspect of the tonal spectrum, and it looks cool against the chrome. I Love mine! It was well worth the price and well worth the wait.
If you get one, you won't regret it.
On a side note, I wound up installing the brass one on another guitar and love it on that guitar, but for the Gretsch....it's Titanium all the way for me.

That is what I have experienced with the sound/tone of Titanum but could not put it into words that well, excellent explanation.

Agreed. While this may sound a little cornball, playing with a Ti Compton is a playing experience that spans virtually every aspect of playing.

Pops,
You need a trade-up service.
I'd love to get another Ti bridge for my other Gretsch, but I already have a few extra bridges that need guitars. Maybe I'll get in on the next batch, cause I'm really digging the Ti on the Jet.

I'd probably jump in on one myself but with two back-to-back roadtrips I'm pinching the pennies for a while.

LATS: Thanks and I have your information.
Pop's
I now have 4 persons on the waiting list and need just a few more before sending in my special order for these Titanium bridges. My CNC shop will need a lead time of 30 days because of the small quantity order. That part is out of my control so hopefully everyone understands the special order for Titaniums.
Thanks: Pop's

I need one more person to do the Titanium order. There is just no other material that will give the tone and clarity of Titanium.

Ricochet: That is what I am hoping for, I will keep everyone updated as the CNC shop gets my orders done. Right now there is a large order that had to be re-done because of a machine issue that happened with about 90 bridges. That really set be back on my inventory but hopefully it will all work itself out here soon.

LATS: Good news, they will be ready to mail out on 02-15-10. That is very close to being on schedule and that is a good thing. Not to sour anyones milk but the last couple of weeks has been one of those stretches that if something can go wrong it surely will. Just looked at a craigs list add I had up and somehow someone else has posted over my add. So of course the first thing I did was change my password and then had to redo the listing. Have some items that need to be sold.

Good news, indeed! Don't go rushing it now. I prefer getting it right to getting it fast.

The package arrived in the mail at the office this morning. Super fast shipping (to Belgium) as usual. Now I need to find the time to put it on my falcon and compare it to my brass CC bridge.
I'll keep you posted. Thanks again Wayne!
