Good on ya! Its a bit of a tick-off, but it usually takes much longer for mail to reach Canada from right next door than overseas to Europe and the U.K.

Mine arrived yesterday as well(tnx Wayne). I just replaced the brass CCC on my LP with the Ti. I'll post a review or update the one for the brass version.

Thanks to all whom have purshased the Titanium bridges from this run. Just sold the last one today. I have one on hold for one of the members here unless they change there mind. There proabably won't be another run of these until next month sometime.

I received the Ti-Bridge last week and found some time to install it on my Falcon this weekend. It was already fitted with a brass Compton which I was very happy with. I had put on new stings in the beginning of last week in order to be able to compare the two bridges with fresh strings. The bridge swap takes about five minutes (if you do it slowly) and compared to the mellow warm jazzy tone of the brass Compton the Ti-bridge gives the guitar an extra bite/edge and an additional increase in sustain of approx. 20%. I also noticed an increase in volume when you play acoustically which I often do for every day practice.
Overall I am very happy with my two Compton bridges. Seems like I have two different Falcon's now. A warm Jazzbox and a mean rock 'n roll machine.
The fact that the Ti bridge is silvercoloured in combination with all the golden bling on a Falcon doesn't bother me. But that is a matter of taste, I guess. I added a few pictures so you can decide for yourself.
I am not a pro so there's probably a lot to be mentioned that I've overlooked but the Compton bridges clearly take my guitar to a higher level of sound-quality.
Thanks a lot to Wayne for his dedication and craftsmanship!

I'm on the evening shift this month, so I check the mailbox on my way out the door going to work. I've been expecting to get a Notice to come down to the Post Office and post ransom, er, pay the taxes & duty.
Today, I found a little package from Duluth, MN. No Duty or taxes owing. Accurate value on the Customs paperwork. I guess somebody was nice to me.
So now I'm at work, staring at this exquisite example of the machinist's art. I've made stuff for NASA, so I know whereof I speak.
I get off at midnight, and I'm starting a dayshift at 08:00 tomorrow.
I'm tempted to install this bridge when I get home, and just play all night instead of sleeping. If this bridge sounds as good as it looks, I may do just that!
Thanks, Wayne!

I've been listening to various clips both from the Compton site and some other posts on here of the TI Compton’s... Amazing! I'm sure it's even better in person. Mine has a great tone and sustain now, I imagine the titanium will give it that extra sparkle. Thanks for all the quick correspondence Pop's, on this and when I ordered my aluminum bridge.

Thanks for the quick response - I think I'm actually going to go with the aluminum bridge. Money is a little tighter right now, so it may be my best bet. Either way it'll be a big improvement over the stock bridge

The aluminum will be much better than your stock bridge. Users report excellent results with any of the metals to choose from. Thanks.

I read that Lats and I am a little concerned that you had to put a forward slant low E on your bridge to get the intonation right. An LP as you know has a fixed bridge and that has a slant contrary to what you have had to put on your guitar. Pop's is confident there will be no problem so I'm easy about it but just questioning the angle you have had to use on your guitar. Hey I am sure you have got the intonation right.

I chalk it up to the different string set I use. The CCC was designed around the assumption that it would be used with 0.010" - 0.046" string sets, with a plain G string. I run 0.011" - 0.049" strings with a wound G.
There are threads here about CCC bridges on LPs, and I don't recall reading any complaints about the intonation.
That said, it would be good to remember that all intonation methods are a set of compromises. My luthier (and his bench-top Peterson tuner) arrived at an optimized position that may look strange, but it really does sound right. With the lighter factory strings still installed, I swapped out the Melita for the Ti CCC and ball-parked the intonation with my old Roland TU-12H. The result looked a lot like Synchro's Duo Jet in > post #42< of my > pain in the palm< thread. Go figure.
I would say that the CCC will give you the best possible bang for the buck. Even if you decided to remove the bridge posts and convert to a floating bridge like the Gretsch setup, your total expenditure would be no more (and probably less) than the TOM-style options available for your LP. And I'm very sure that a TOM won't give you the tonal benefits of a CCC.

The Titanium bridges are in my hot little hands today and I have emailed those who have spoken for one. At this time I have only (2) left which is the 2.9 post spacing with the 12" radius. Anyone interested please PM me with your information. It will be another month now before I get another order in. Thanks to all.

I now have 4 Titanium bridges available in the 2.9" post spacing with the 12" radius. Maybe the Easter Bunny can pick one up for you. Happy Easter.

Hi,
My Compton Titanium Bridge been delivered on saturday and mounted on my 5120, and after a weekend of intensive playing, I can only say : "Whoa !"
Greater Sustain, notes are more clear-cut, the guitar sound louder.
Something that's hard to explain, but before strings seemed to be able to jump off the bridge if i was picking too harder. Now they feel like they're a part of the guitar.
In fact I believe someone may have switch guitar during my sleep !
Thanks to Compton Bridge !

I am going to place another order for Titanium bridges in a few days. Anyone interested in the pre-order please send me a PM. Like always, when I order any bridges, it takes around 3~4 weeks to complete the order. My CNC shop has many orders to fill and he is very busy which is a good thing for him. Thanks.

Just to say that they make an enormous difference to a Gibson Les Paul Standard and not only on Gretsches. Any thoughts on a Titanium Nut Pop's ?

Quietly: The Titanium nut could be a huge improvement. Only problem is, there is no way I could size them to fit each guitar out there. It is possible to make a blank that the user could then fit and then slot to there guitar.

Intonation is a personal thing not universal.I've known people who had high frets on their guitar play 15 even 20 cents sharp because they press on the string so hard(try it with the meter).Myself i push into the fret and play a little flat. This is a BIG deal and has to be taken into consideration when setting intonation and which is why "you have to set your own".No one else can get it right unless they know your touch.I've heard players for years say about a particular git they had,"best intonated guitar I ever played".Why,because the fret height and string length was perfect to their touch.Wayne's bridges are as good as it gets.Non adjustable bridges are not for the obsessive compulsive or anal retentive though cause you'll always be worrying cause string is 2 cents off. I myself on occasion have a bad habit of fretting to hard on certain strings which makes tuning and intonation a challenge at times. Many times I have thought a string was out of tune but if I relaxed my grip a little it would be fine.
tyguy has a very good point there.

Only I don't know what you mean with the radius hehe, I have a standard TR 6119 with FT pickups and Adjusto-Matic™ Bridge never been altered.

I was also thinking about a Compton replacement too on my '92 6119 TR with TV Jones classics on it.
The Tunomatic roller bridge on it is awful and I keep popping out low and high E strings from the roller nuts while using finger picking chet style things. The roller V grooves are not deep enough for me. Using .011 strings with plain G.
I could not decide which I prefer better soundwise between SS and Alu so I thought of ordering both, but then I noticed the sound clip from the Ti version and read the reviews.
Is there a new batch coming of Ti bridges?
I measured the spacing of my bridge and being a metric guy (NL) it seems to sit between 2.9" and 3" spacing so I'm a bit puzzled which one to choose. it has a 12" radius neck.
I guess I need to measure the spacing again more precise
Cheers

MaBerY: I am only having the CNC shop run the 2.9 inch post spacing but they are making it with the 9.5" or 12" radius. Those would be the 2 models available in Titanium. Thanks.

MaBerY: That sounds like it would be the 2.9 inch post spacing model. Now you may want to include the radius and string spread distance at the bridge. If you are interested in a purchase, please send me a PM and we can work out the details. I do have 4 in stock right now.
