Compton Compensated Custom Bridges
Please look at my website for the one piece bridge saddles that fit most Gretsch guitars. They are made from Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel and Titanium by special order. I have sold hundreds to Gretsch players and all have very positive feedback.
Thanks: Pop's www.comptonbridges.com

Sarah: Yes I am but did not know I had left until a bit ago when looking for my old thread that was a record breaker on this forum as from what I have seen. Anyway, what was done is probably for the best. In keeping on track, what is your perception of the Compton Bridge?
Thanks; Pop's

Being the proud owner of Aluminum, Brass, and Stainless Steel Compton bridges I have to say that I fully appreciate the design and the net effect of tone and improved sustain. I also appreciate the improvement in action. For the money they are one of the best mods one can do for a Gretsch guitar!!

How about an ebony & ivory CCC. Individually or a cool combo.

I just received my beautiful titanium Compton! I’ll be placing it on my 6128-62 tonight and will post clips and pics! The bridge is gorgeous! Thanks Pop's!

I've just put my titanium Compton on my Corvette - dialed down the height a little and the intonation was perfect. It's so much more comfortable for palm muting than the Tune-O-Matic. There's a clear increase in volume and sustain, so, as well as being very straightforward to set up, it
- looks better
- feels better
- sounds better
Thanks Pop's!

My expected aluminum one must be freighted across the Atlantic by a turtle who is kind a lazy. Come on turtle, pick up the speed, I want my bridge...

DaddyDistortion: The package was mailed by USPS on 11-21-09 and could take 14 to 20 business days I am told by the postal service. There have been some slow downs and strikes overseas that have slowed down some deliveries. Please keep me informed as to when it does get to you. Sorry about the delay but it is something that I have no control over.
S Macp: His package was mailed on 11-20-09 and I see his just arrived to Glascow UK.
Hopefully yours will show up soon.

I know that its the mailguys that are running the current show. I am just so eager to lay my stiff lil fingers on that shiny piece of guitar art. :-) The ordering service was outstanding.

Titanium install
Here we go...took a day off ( from the cold) pulled the satinless and installed the Ti .....very simple operation, pulled old strings oiled board, added new bridge...letting all settle for a bit...and intonate and tune....initally rings out just beautiful...now to figure out how to get all the darn finger prints off the guitar...and smudges...never fails...heres a few pics......

Thanks for the feedback Dan. I agree on getting all those little dust gremlins taken care of. Nice looking guitar.
