hello,
id like to find out what kind of finish is my white falcon ? its a 2006 model, i need to know as i have some scratches on it and i need to know whats my best option, ..but how do i tell what finish it is ?..i think its polly myself but i need advice before i ruin my guitar

What's the model number on the inside label? A lacquer finish should have an "L" in the model number, like "G6136T-LTV."

More than likely polyurethane, unless there's an L in the model number as mugsy stated.

yes it has an L but its followed by a H ...as in LEFT HAND, which it is....
vinnyroxx...any other way of finding out ?

If it is the one in your avatar, that looks like a G6136T, which has a poly finish. Looking at the 2006 USA catalog, there were no Falcons with a lacquer finish at that time.

Depending on how deep it is, 3M Finesse It II is a great polish. Works well by hand or machine. If it's deeper, 3M rubbing compound followed by the Finesse It II will bring it back to a factory finish. The Finesse It II is great for fine scratches.
