I think I might prefer the sound of the Blacktop FilterTrons in the new ProJets vs. the hollowbodies. I've heard them in the 5191 hollowbody, not the new 542X models. And I like them, they're a big improvement over Gretschbuckers. They just seem really well matched to the new ProJets. I've only played the 5191 & ProJets in a store, don't own any of them, so I'm curious what others think..

Perhaps you just prefer the sound of a Jet.

Since I bought my ProJet I love the FilterTrons & can't wait to hear them on the 542Xs. Was lookingg at buying a Casino or something simillar, but now want to try out a 542X just to hear how they sound with FilterTrons.
