Completely stoked with this amp! Stellar clean sounds.
Maybe not much heard of in the US. Wienbrock are a tiny British 'boutique' amp company. All p2p handwired stuff and thoroughly nice blokes to boot!

The blurb!ME-3 PRO is a 50''s vintage-voiced, valve rectfied combo with lots of punch and clarity... 2 Volumes,1 normal & one bright- balancing these 2 gives huge scope for tonal experimentation. 1 Tone control, Vintage/Modern-switch. 100% all valve design 25W RMS @ 8 ohms 8 & 4 ohm outputs Custom transformer set Hand wired glass reinforced eyelet boards NOS or new production valve sets available 2 X 6L6GT --- 1 X 5U4 rectifier valve 1 X ECC83/12AX7 --- 1 X ECC81/12AT7

The obligatory evidence pics!

Gigged this amp over the weekend. A Very loud 25watts, easily kept up with the other guitarists 40w 2x12 sound city. It has phenominal punch & clarity, cuts through the mix so well. Fab tone & VERY touch responsive, almost like an instrument in its own right. Seems to be built like a tank & all the wiring/soldering is very tidy.
Interesting thing, it does have two channels (bright & vintage) but acts like it is single channel, they are not switched, you have a vol knob for each (no master vol) and you blend them. At first this doesn't feel very intuitive but after a bit of practice i really like experimenting with this.
Very happy so far, I'll write up a road test review when I have had it a bit longer.

I'm in a slightly strange position in that Rob Wienbrock the main man at Wienbrock plays beautiful lead guitar in my band (Thee Distractions - www.reverbnation.com/theedistractions) using his marvellous amps. So I suppose I could be biased, but quite rightly he's not provided his product to me for free and I can still say they sound excellent. I play a 5122 Gretsch sadly via an old M-80 Fender made much better by using the lovely leads made by the Chord Company and sold at The Den in Keighley UK. A couple of weeks ago we were playing an outdoor gig and Rob kindly lent me a Weinbrock amp to give me a bit more umph. The combination of Gretsch Chord and Wienbrock was heavenly. I'm 50 and and I have to genuinely say that I have NEVER!!!!!!! heard a combination so beautiful as that before in all my life. A few days later we played another gig in doors and I was back to my M-80, but my money box is getting heavier!!!!

Thank you, it really is very good looking & sounds even better !

I bought a VGC used ME3-Pro, the serial number leads me to think that it is a very early build. That model has now been updated with a similarish size/spec model the 'Gringo', actually it's quite a bit updated! (now 18/30 watts, different speaker+ a few tweaks etc).
I think they are retailing at GBP £1,650 for the 1x12 combo & £1,400 for the head.

Thanks for the shout Grey, glad yer enjoying the ME-3 Pro... if you'd like to know exactly when your amp was built send us a PM with the serial no. via our website... and thanks also to Matt for his contribution to the thread...

I thought it might be useful to let people know that we have a handful of S/H amps here and that you can contact us via the website for any enquiries... don't want to get into any commercial activity here on the forum so if you have any questions please contact us via our website...

As an aside - I'm considering a Tennessee Rose that is for sale in a local shop in Leeds... that would make both Matt and I official Gretsch users :D
