Hi guys,

Just a couple of weeks ago my G5425 arrived, and I love it!

For the money that I spent (£230) for it brand new I don't think you can go wrong!

Was just wondering what I could buy mod-wise to make it look and sound better - I'm basically only playing chords at the moment with a few blues riffs.

Am looking into a Bigsby B70 also - are they worth it? (mostly just for aesthetic reasons)

Any other recommendations?

Isle of Wight eh? Lovely place. Nearly as nice as Cornwall ;)

One mod that many many Gretsch owners do is to replace the bridge with a Compton Bridge. There's lots of info here about them or Google it.
