Hello all
I have a question for guitar luthiers and modders
its about that time where im about to purchase my second gretsch and im probably going to go with a double jet in gold but i have some ideas on making it my own and have questions to those who know more about moddding a guitar
my first idea is that im an avid jack white fan so how easy would it be to add a middle pup on those guitars
my ideas for the four knobs would be the back three each be tone knobs and all of them push pull pots to kill the sound and the master volume stay the same. Is this doable?
if i dont put a third pickup i would still want the two volumes for each pickups be replaced with tone pots iso i can have more control over my tone i dont enjoy only having one master tone i like to switch pickups a alot and i enjoy having my neck pickup really bassy with the tone turned down and my bridge have more high-end
is any of this even doable? can you put push pulls on gretsch's? Can anyone with any experience help? thank you for reading
