Hey All,

a Kenny Vaughan signature Rally?

How cool to see: 1) Kenny my favorite guitarist playing a Gretsch (all I've seen him play are teles and acoustics) and; 2) Kenny playing rockabilly behind Sleepy LaBeef. I knew Kenny did punk, country, blues, jazz and now rockabilly.

Anyway who would be up for a new Rally?

I don't see a Rally in that photo... but he seems to be bonding nicely with that White Falcon!

Hey All,

I guess you have to assume the caption is right.

It certainly is not a "stock" rally as it was completely rebuilt and different pups and a bigsby added.

Irrespective it is good to see Kenny sportin a Gretsch.

I would guess that since it's also got a Falcon pickguard, it's basically a conversion effort.

Ok, now I am curious. What is it? I know it isn't a left handed silver falcon, but I wish it were... My inclination is to believe Wayne almost automatically. The caption also states the guitar was found in "destroyed" condition. Could that be a Falcon neck or headstock on a Rally body?

yeah... seems reasonable that if a Rally was that severely damaged, you wouldn't put that much effort (and cost) into bringing it back to it's Rally state, but would instead make it into something more grand. It appears that this is what's been done.
