Yeah those are legit. Bolt on I think.
Before they realized that they needed set necks and GreTscH across the headstock

Thanks for your help. Would you look at the next pic with the actual headstock. I can't see anything like that on my reference stuff

I have three different Pre-Fender Electromatics with the exact same headstock logo configuration. Trust me, it's legit. Gretsch used this on the Electromatic solid body guitars up until late 2003. Also, the actual size of the "Electromatic" logo varies from model to model and year to year. Yours is a pretty early one, where the logos were larger. They actually got a little smaller over the years, as you can see below.
You can see it on one of my guitars here-- (ignore the G-Arrow logo, that's a decal that I put on after the fact):

It's also on my pre-Fender Bo Diddley model (identical except that the Bo model also has Bo's signature on the headstock):

and also on my Pre-Fender Electromatic Sparklejet:

Hello! I am new to the Gretsch fanclub and I am looking to buy a 2nd hand Double Jet just like the one on top of this thread. May I quickly "borrow" this thread to ask how much I should expect to pay for such a pre-Fender model Double Jet?? Thanks a lot!!! coop
