Please help me figure out what year my model 30 was made. The serial number is 7079 stamped on the top of the peghead. I would also like to know what strings you use on your model 30/35 and why you like them.

That's a late example model 30, made circa 1941. I can't help you on the string question. Pretty sure you won't find many folks here with this guitar, but I'm sure you'll get opinions on strings in general.
