Just picked up a Clark Piedmont Bassman copy to replace my 59 LTD reissue. It sounds divine! The workmanship is outstanding and those Webers sing. Certainly worthy of the hype! Nice to finally have "the" amp that will stay with me, it has been a daunting search. Here are the obligatory P2P wiring porn shots...

hhaahha! 6sting you are just as nuts as I am. ever since I was a kid I HAD to smell the electronics. It started with my dads tube amps and whenever he'd open the back of the tv set to take the tubes to the dimestore for testing. (damn I'm old)

Sadly it smells like a delicate blend of feet, a$$ and YMCA shower. The previous owner (spectacularly nice and talented guy) had a pile of dogs that must have slept in it or something. Waiting patiently for the Fabreeze to win the war. Luckily it sounds like angels caressing your ears with rose pedals so it's all good.
I'll have to record some clips for you P2P pervs. Of course it goes without saying that the amp makes promises that my playing can't deliver on...

That's a seriously tasty amp!
And the smell qualifiers you mention also apply for about 95% of French cheeses, so: BRING IT ON!:D
