I was listening to this smoky old tune last week. Amazing how horrendous the production was and it still managed to conceive half a generation. I couldn't get the tune out of my head so I slapped together this cover with my Gretsch 6120 through my new Super Champ x2. The mix still needs a bit of tweaking but here it is. The other guitars on the recording are a JA90 Telecaster, a Seagull S6 and a Fender Jazz Bass. I hope you enjoy this classic old song.

Haven't heard that in a long time. I didn't realize that the lovely BB was somehow involved.

Nice job, that Gainsbourg was a lucky man having Bardot as his girlfriend . . . now that would be something to sing about. I will say your version is closer to the Jane Birkin version and I think the BB version was sexier . . .
