Someone coach me on these things, because that's one of the sexiest guitars i've ever seen.

I used to own one; a 1999 model made in Korea, cats eye F holes, they were made up until 2001 or 2002... The pickups were dearmonds, thin neckline, I felt was a bit better than the electromatic I had at that time.

I have a 2002 G3161 I bought on Ebay from a music store in Las Vegas. It came with stock Gretschbucker pickups, and unfortunately a cracked nut. I had the nut replaced, installed TV Jones Classic pickups and a B6C V-cut Bigsby, Compton Titanium tone chamber bridge, also replaced all the pots, input jack, and wiring and had a complete set-up done (the truss rod was badly out of adjustment). All this cost plenty$$ but the end result is a very nice guitar that plays beautifully and sounds great. Here's some pics:
