I'm installing a B7 Bigsby on my Electro Jet, along with pulling the post sockets for the stock tuneomatic and using a floating roller bridge. The electronics happen to be grounded to this bridge post. I realize I can just run the wire from under the bridge and wrap it around part of the new bridge with no major surgery, and i will probably do this temporarily, but I want to do a pro job. This means I'll have to drill a hole through the bottom of the body to run the ground wire under the end of the Bigsby. Any tips on this?

Run the ground wire Up through the end pin. You're going to need a long drill bit, but it shouldn't be too tough.

I'd rather go the other way though.... To me the floating bridge is a tone and sustain sink.

I've gotta say, I'm a floating bridge fan, as long as the base is sanded to fit the top.

Well on a jet, the ground wire runs through the end pin hole to the bigsby...I'm not sure you've got a better option.
