Greetings to all . New here at Gretsch Talk forum. I have a 64 Country Gent thats in need of a neck reset. What can I expect to pay on average to have this done ? Its a really nice guitar. Nice dark brown with stair step tuners like George Harrisons. No binding issues at all but the action is way too high and you can see the neck joint has moved a bit.

This cost of a neck reset can sometimes depend on how easily the neck comes off. I would go in expecting $300-500.

I had the neck on my '61 Annie reset last year for $450. It made a huge difference in playability and was definitely worth the expense.
