Have a great friend that is an accomplished musician and after seeing his enthusiasm to his White Falcon I knew Gretsch ment quality. So as a learning bassist I wanted to find a bass.. I just picked up myself the Gretsch 5123-b ... I've herd it's limited on numbers ... It does feature the stunning Gretsch orange color and tv jones pick ups... I am pairing this with a fun petal.. The swollen mushroom.. My question is.. How do I learn more about this bass?? I can't hardly find anything about it.. Almost like its too rare.. I've been told only 100 are known to b around, and one is smashed up in Cali at a store??

From my understanding it was a limited run (hollowbody 5120 style) made for Guitar Center. One per store on a limited store basis.

Wow that would be very cool! I wish Gretsch made one like that in amber, then I would have a match for my Prom Queen!

Dg shooter lol I am so new I haven't figured out how to add a photo.. I want my Gretsch out for everyone to see.. Any suggestions??.. I'm on the iPhone btw??

Thank you for the warm welcomes.. Just another quick question... How long will it take for me to not wipe off finger prints, worry about her getting hurt, or worried about a scuff lol...

Welcome . . . until you get your first ding or dent or scratch . . . then you'll still care but it won't be as painful :o
