It arrived yesterday. I already had two SCXDs (with upgraded speakers) because I like them so much. (now you can get the SCXD for $200) The X2 with the 12" cabinet of course is similar, but the 16 voices are different and can be edited on line. Having played it for several hours I have observed that the boomy-ness of the bass response is something I have to learn to dial out. It sounded best with my tele. My work horse for gigs is a Carvin SH 575 (similar to es335) has considerable boomy issue with the new x2 mini stack, but not with the older SCXD 10'. I hope I can overcome the boomy issue that occurs with humbucker equipped guitars.
