markerman January 25th, 2012, 09:20 AM This is what I got ( but not neccesairily use)
Boss tuner
Boss od2
Danelectro big O
Inbanez ts 9
Boss equilizer
Boss compressor/sustainer
Vintage obscure flanger
Boss stereo chorus
Cry baby wah
What order would you use and why.
araT January 25th, 2012, 11:43 AM Depends on the tones you're after, try the OD2 before the Wah for a Hendrixy-style tone, try it after for a more modern sound. I have od/dist pedals either side of my wah so I have the best of both worlds.
As for the rest, follow this - there are no RULES, and you can put them in any order you please, but this is the general recommendation:
Your guitar > Tuner > Filters > Compressors > Distortion/Overdrive/Fuzz > EQ > Pitch-shifting > Modulation > Volume > Delay > Reverb > Your amplifier

what she said
but if you have an effects loop it goes like this
Your guitar > Tuner > Filters > Compressors > Distortion/Overdrive/Fuzz > amplifier
fx send=>EQ>Pitch-shifting > Modulation > Volume > Delay > Reverb > fx return
G.L. Mitchell January 25th, 2012, 12:01 PM The best set up I ever had was not all pedals, but was fairly cheap but awesome. I bought 3 Alesis Nanoverbs, new 99 bucks a pop. On the back they have a bypass jack. I found an old Peavey pedal that had 3 switches and fix it so each verb had its own switch. They are small only half rack size, I made me a nice walnut stained little rack. They were one on top of each other at an angle tilted back so i could see each one. I used one for chorus, one for delay, and one for reverb. Cheaper then most pedals but studio quality effects, which is better then most pedal effects. The cool thing I had alot of options for each effect, I ran them tru the effects loop. Everyone thought they were real cool, sounded very good and look very cool. They thought they were so cool someone stole them from me. I ran my Boss OD 1 tru the front.

In Stratville, Strat , sometimes brain, wah, mxr bassman When the dust settles will eventually through a Tim in there for good keeping. But, when I can, I let the amp do the breaking up.
