I just got this pedal a month ago from a guy at a gig. He had bought a Boss Blues Driver from is brother. He had this pedal in his music room and it was im mint condition. He said he only used it a couple of times, he still had the box and manual. I got it for $25.00. As you have read in my other thread, my amp is broke down right now. So I haven't got to try it out yet, I was wondering if anyone has used one are heard one.

I know nothing anout the rev II but the old I version was a must !

As you can see on this vid, pots are doing great job from 7 to 10, just mod your tone below 6... One major issue that they must have solve on rev 2, I hope.

That was pretty cool, I like the sound you was getting, And your playing wasn't bad either. I was going to trade it to this guy for a Pro Co Rat pedal, but his girl friend bought it for him and she got upset. So we didn't get to trade, I use to use a Rat back in the 80s. I used it on a old Marshall 45 and a Gibson SG with P90s, and it wasn't a Epiphone either.

Haven't tried one but I do have a Marshall Gov'nor that I don't use. I recently did a mod (Small Bear) to my TS-9 Tube Screamer and it sounds fantastic.

I like the BluesBreaker II but would like to trade it for something different, just to change up my sound a bit.

One of my favorite pedals is the Blursbreaker v1 that I bought back in '92, but since John Mayer started using them they are hard to get. There are some amazing improvements on that circuit that are being made. It seems 95% of low gain ODs are Tubescreamers in different costumes. Many builders have finally figured out the Blursbreaker's classic value. My two favorites are the JHS Morning Glory which is part of their Double Barrel and the amazing Geek Mac Daddy British Ball Breaker. Better op-amps than the TubeScreamer 4558 chip and better components. A JTM-45 in a box.

I just traded it and 13 bucks to Guitar center, for a new Boss SD-1. I really like it a lot it is just what I was looking for. It sounds good on my Fender Blues Deluxe reissue, and my little Roland Cube 60.
