Bionic Muffins January 5th, 2012, 11:59 PM what do you guys reccomend?
im using 4 pedals. two boss delays, a tech 21 overdrive, and a planet waves tuner.
oh and also, i play a lot of shows in a wide range of places, so clean power and all that interference and stuff is of concern.

Well i just went through all this and there is another thread running on this topic but I finalised on Voodoo Labs PP2 but then finalised again on the BBE Supa Charger which is a clone of the Voodoo Labs PP2 but 30-40% cheaper. Only got this 2 weeks ago but the board runs well. I run with a Line 6 DL4 that has a high current draw and the BBE has 2 outlets that support this. So far so good.

jaycemumford January 6th, 2012, 05:02 AM BBE from me also!
MacStevenXIII January 6th, 2012, 05:03 AM I've been using a 1 Spot for the past few years of heavy gigging, in many different places, it's been working out fine for me. I have to admit though I want to give the Voodoo lab power a shot and see how much, if any better it really is.

I cant comment for gigging purposes, but at home is was easier having a supply.

The PP2 has eight 9V outputs which will power any type of battery operated effects. Each output is complelty isolated and short circuit protected, filtered and regulated. Result is reliable , no hum and no noise.
It can power Line6 modeling pedals, Boss Twin pedals plus has two variable voltage outlets to simulate worn batteries.
It can also power the Boss PSA type and the older Boss ACA type pedals like the DM2, CS-3 among others.
ex: Boss DM2 by simple flick of the dim switch, on outlets 1-4.
GentleBen January 6th, 2012, 09:04 AM I was gonna get one but it won't power my Boss CE-1. :)
Bionic Muffins January 6th, 2012, 10:12 AM What about the trex fuel tank jr? I have a one spot and its messy. Im no electrical genious but two prong one spot vs 3 prong on the others means something right?
Synchro January 6th, 2012, 10:16 AM I've always done fine with a One Spot.
vjf1968 January 6th, 2012, 01:13 PM Where the BBE falls short is no courtesy outlet which both the Voodoo Labs PP2 and ModTone PowerPlant have. This will allow you to run something like a M9 or M13.
Poppatwang January 6th, 2012, 05:34 PM 4 pedals daisy chained with a wall wart.
Pickfish January 6th, 2012, 05:59 PM One Spot works well for me and it's quiet.
shakerAU January 6th, 2012, 11:09 PM One spot works great.
classicrock January 7th, 2012, 12:53 AM I have the same BBE and it is awesome.

funnyorangeguitar January 14th, 2012, 03:14 PM a Bogan? :D
Hmm. Methinks that would be a good name for your delay pedal.

johnnyguitar January 14th, 2012, 06:10 PM I just went from a 1spot to the Voodoo Lab PP2. It's quieter, less mess. Very happy.
I had a ground loop hum on my overdrive and it's gone:)
