New G5120, Buying TVJ Pups...

New here to the forum, and glad to be the proud owner of 1 brand new Gretsch Electromatic G5120 tomorrow for the best Christmas present ever.

My question is this.

I play a multitude of different styles, well, really, pretty much every style imaginable, but am looking for a tone that can give me a nice warm full bridge sound and a nice high twangy, yet atmospheric neck sound, so I went to TV Jones site and listened to every audio sample they had. I came to the conclusion that the TV-HT for the bridge and the Magnatron for the neck would give me the lowest sound to what i'm hearing in my head. But can this be fitted and if so, can anyone tell me what I am to expect with each, and the sound I will get with both pickups turned on?

Thanks very much.

Sorry about the double post. :(

Gee, I can't pinpoint the sound in words very well. But I have classics on my 5120 and I just love em to death. The neck pup is nice and twangy, the neck is real warm and both together are really.. Chuggy? Anyways, I love everything about them

I'm sure i'll love them also haha. On another note, you profile pic is EPIC. Godzilla and Gretsch are my two favorite things.
