I bought one of these Epiphone EJ-200 Limited Editions 44 days ago and I was very pleased with the guitar and the price. Today I saw this and called and they gave me $25 back per the 45 day price guarantee, and the FREE tuner! I don't know where you will find a better acoustic for $125.

Wow, that is a good deal. I'm amazed at these modern day Epi acoustics. Best bang for the buck out there right now.

C'mon now, Tavo, that price is nothing to sneeze at. :D

Nope! I'd say it's not as good as your Chinese Recording King. but if all you want is tone and strong projection, it'll work. I don't think it'd have any problem being heard playing bluegrass alongside a banjo player.

Man, that's a great price on the EJ-200. I picked up an AJ-100 for 90 bucks (with a 10% off coupon) a few months ago - and "for the money", and for a "beater" guitar, I really like this one, too. It really projects - being a jumbo.
I changed out the stock strings to D'Addarrio coated ESP's and it sounds really nice now.
But if I coulda gotten an EJ-200 for $125 and a free tuner, I probably would have gone that route.

This guitar is still flooring me 45 days after I bought it! It's not perfect, it could use a nicely cut nut and a little fret work on one upper fret. But I would strongly suggest you try one if you haven't yet! YOu can always send it back if your less the wowed.

I have the regular Epi ej200in sunburst (this one:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/epiphone-ej-200-acoustic-guitar) and it's the nicest acoustic I've ever owned. In GC, I played it alongside other acoustics costing 6-7 times as much (Gibby J45 & J200) and to my ears I could discern NO difference... I actually liked the feel of the Epi much better! For $125, this is a steal.
