VOX AC30VR anyone?

I once owned an AC50CP2. I liked it.. but it had its drawbacks that sorta made keeping it hard to do.

1. I have bad knees and the 90lbs weight was just a bear on them.

2. The OD channel was... uh... ok. ...at best.

3. The channel indicator lights would sometimes work.

4. Input jacks would loosely hold the guitar cable.

That being said... I LOVED the normal channel.

The AC30VR seems to have addressed at least issues 1 and 2. Anyone here have any real experience with this amp? Any build quirks?

Looking to maybe buy a cheapy alternative amp.

I tried one, it has very little cleans.

You cannot play loud and clean, other than that, it is a great amp. Vox really is doing good with some of these newer non modeling amps

Well, when I say clean... I mean relatively speaking. My old one didn't really have a CLEAN. At cleanest, it had that bluesy grind feel and sound.

Well in that case, this amp could very well work for you.
