Tis how I feel about collectors. Thanks for bloating the market out with all your "sense of value"

I feel a bit ignorant when I look at threads like this - I have NO idea what you guys are talking about....too much for my simple brain.....

*heads off to practise more arpeggio strings from the super-locrian mode over altered dominants in a cyclic progression, feeling totally bewildered by Telefunken ECC803S*

Do you think your the only one? However, when practicing your arpeggio strings, don't use the super-locrian mode over the altered dominants, thats what idiots do. Instead, do the cyclic progression while amplifying the Y axis of the crossover pre fader levels, unless of course, you are coin git in the old school style, which we all love here, then make sure you lube the input prior tp total axiom adjustment. Its that simple.

OH you guys-....1800 is a deal since they are 1,295 each from tubes.com.
There is people on this forum with 20,000,000,000,000 dollar guitars they can swing 1800 for 2 tubes that go in an amp that never gets turned on!

I would have no reference for Telefunken if it were not for that Van Morrison song from the early 90's...

Very good ! "non-perfectly"...you loose 14db after listening a concerto with that stuff? ;) and if your Triangle audio tube amp give up , don't worry you could still produce a nice vintage heat and light (wow!! Amazing!) in your living room in a poor battered innocent radio...:)

Van Morrison's "In the Days Before Rock of Roll" is the only reference/background knowledge I have for Telefunken....

Lyrics for "In the Days Before Rock of Roll"

Justin, gentler than a man
I am down on my knees
At the wireless knobs
I am down on my knees
At those wireless knobs
Telefunken, Telefunken
And I'm searching for
Luxembourg, Luxembourg,
Athlone, Budapest, AFN,
Hilversum, Helvetia

In the days before rock 'n' roll
When we let, then we bet
On Lester Piggott when we met
We let the goldfish go
In the days before rock 'n' roll
Fats did not come in
Without those wireless knobs
Fats did not come in
Without those wireless knobs
Elvis did not come in
Without those wireless knobs
Nor Fats, nor Elvis
Nor Sonny, nor Lightning
Nor Muddy, nor John Lee

In the days before rock 'n' roll
When we let and we bet
On Lester Piggott 10/1
And we let the goldfish go
Down the stream
Before rock 'n' roll
We went over the wavebands
We'd get Luxembourg,
Luxembourg and Athlone
AFM stars of Jazz
Come in, come in, come in, Ray Charles
Come in, the high priest

In the days before rock 'n' roll
When we let and we bet
On Lester Piggott 10 to 1
And we let the goldfish go
And then the killer came along
The killer, Jerry Lee Lewis
A whole lotta shakin' goin' on,
Great balls of fire
Little Richard
Justin, gentler than a man
Justin, Justin, where is Justin now?
What's Justin doing now?
Just, where is Justin now?
Come aboard
