Hey everyone,

Getting into the christmas spirit and learning some songs to fit the mood :)

Really wanna learn this and desperately need help with all of the jazz chords he throws in! Not too interested in the solo, i can slow that down and learn it (I Hope :p) But the rhythm chords he puts in confuse the heck outta me!

TAB Would be great and a video would make you my favourite person in the world!

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

THANK YOU :D

I recommend the Christmas Real Book (http://www.amazon.com/Real-Christmas-Book-C/dp/1423433874/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1322094474&sr=8-3).

It's a good reference for this and other songs where jazz chords are the way you want to go.

Bob, I think it might be a matter of hanging around at the right place at the right time.

In the early 2000's, I was hanging around the Fender Forum due to my purchase of a Cyber-Twin at that time. I was eager to learn about about jazz at that time. The myth of the Real Book Series was revealed to me at that time in the Chop Shop section.

Anyway, The Real Book series is the basic reference for all the learning for playing jazz in the last two or three decades. It was reportedly compiled by the best ear transcriptions from students at Berklee in Boston. Since copyrights were never cleared, some problems happened.

Basically, it was only available under the counter at the best music stores nationally. Sort of like condoms at your local drug store.

Anyway, somewhere in between, Hal Leonard arranged the legal requirements and it now published with legal legitimacy.

After all this, I happened to see The Christmas Book in a display at Best Buy and bought it on previous reputation.

Great News!

I have learnt Most Of It! :D :D

Just gotta 'refine' some of the jazz chords so that they are the same as he uses :)

Thanks, for all the help that was offered, but in the end my ears came through for me! Learning stuff by ear really allows you to learn the music rather than just read it IMO :)

No worries
you see this video:
Brian Setzer - Rockabilly licks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6PxoO6ABMA

So on youtube, they are displaying just a 5 minutes of the whole video. So, I am looking for the entire video at the source.
Actually it is mentioned below the video that the reference is here in Gretsch-talk forum. So, probably somebody in the forum has posted it and can tell us where to get it all.
Enjoy the video !

I have that video in it's entirety. But it's a huge file. I could dropbox it to you, but you'll need a dropbox...
