That's a definite upgrade for sure. Mine had a Celestion greenback. Better chime, barking mids and slowly went into a nice breakup. Try it, I think you'll like it. It made the amp "woodier" sounding I guess I wood say. It's that great alnico magnet they put in there. Weber makes great speakers for a reasonable price.
