Steerhead inlay on the Gretsch Rancher Junior

Hi everyone. I’ve been mulling over getting my first Gretsch acoustic-electric.

I’m particularly interested in the Gretsch Rancher Junior from the flat top collection.

However, I’ve noticed that some of these Rancher Junior guitars that Gretsch has manufactured have the steerhead inlay etched on the pickguard, while others don’t.

Check these out:

So here's my question:

Which of the four Rancher Junior models have that steerhead design on the pickguard- the G5010, the G5012, the G5013, or the G5015?

Do any of you Gretsch experts here have any information on this? I don’t know anything about the Rancher Junior’s history to get anywhere with my research.:(

Thanks in advance! I appreciate the help!

We know where you can get a nice custom PG if you can't find one with it.

The 5000 series Ranchers no longer have the steerhead on the pickguard.

The DID have one up until 2006, but it was removed in 2006. The models from 2005 and earlier DO have the steerhead. I have a 2005 G5022C with the steerhead on the pickguard.

So, if you see a steerhead on a 5000 series acoustic, it is a 2005 or earlier model. From 2006 onward, only the 6000 (pro-line) series acoustics have the pickguard logo.
