Specifically, I'm looking at a G6122-1962 and a G6136DC (double cut). The obvious differences I see are the extra "bling", longer scale length and open f-holes on the Falcon. Oh, and an extra grand on the list price. Other than that, the specs seem to be almost identical.

Since I only have the Gent, I don't know what the Falcon has that Gent doesn't. Does the neck attach at the same point? Since the Falcon has a back pad, does it also have an access panel? Is the bracing the same?

The neck/body attachment is of concern to me. The Gent, although a beauty and a pleasure to play, does have serious limitations on the upper frets. I'd like to know how others feel about the two guitars. Thanks.
