Did you guys see the Atomic Brain review done by gearmandude on Youtube? It's a great review. Check it out:

I'm waiting for Tony to get one so I can try it in person.

Nice review. Would have been good to see it used with an overdrive or fuzz, just to show it's not a genre specific pedal.

I hope the orders come flooding in. :)

i been using a DOD 250 preamp with my Marshall, maybe i should give the Brain a try.
I'm glad Tavo's pedal is starting to make some headway and exposure...that Wampler analog is great too.

I need to A/B it against my modded Mr. Echo. It's got the preamp/echo in one. Though not voiced to be a particular tape echo preamp ala Atomic Brain or the Echoplex clones. It does it's own thing and does it well.

pretty cool. I had no idea (had not looked into all the brain stuff) it was what it was (from a 301) I loved my 301 back in the old days...

a buddy of mine who played with Lee Roy Parnell hipped me to using a limiter in front of my delay and it has kind of been flavor of the day all summer as we work through all our outdoor gigs (fairs etc)

it might be fun to try one or go find an old 301!

I was going to say the same thing. Tavos pedals are perfect for getting the rockabilly/old school country tones of Setzer and Chet Atkins, but I think that a lot of people think that they are a one trick pony.

The way that Nocturne pedals take your signal and give it a slight boost with a more round and even tone can be used for much more than just running before an analog delay to sound like an RE 301.

I've ran my Dyno Brain before my Timmy and Small Fry, an honestly, to my ears there isn't a reason to turn it off. It sounds killer when used with a good chorus pedal too. When I use a more ruthless OD/Distortion I don't have it on, but other than that the little purple LED of tone and goodness is always shining.

Billy Brain owner here - I turn it on and leave it on - swing / rock / country / blues / rockabilly - it opens up the sound of my BDRI - Thanks Tavo for helping me find beautiful, usable tone

I should hopefully be buying an Atomic Brain soon (well... should have one being bought for me! Thank you santa :D ). His review isn't the reason i want one either, it's all down to reading the rave reviews on here, another forum and Tavo's great demo's!

If it's any interest i don't really play rockabilly other than for fun at home. My band is more in the shoegaze vein of things. I'm hoping the brain will be able to add a little grit to my cleans and some extra clarity to my Big Muff. I'm also wondering just how much more gain/distortion/overdrive the abby switch would add? Sorry if this is the wrong place for any questions! :o
