I thought about that, but already have the TC Electronic NovaDelay amd thought I wouldn't make much use of it. Am I wrong?

Big bends nut sauce. also try some DR neon strings. Never tried them but they may be fun on that matte black guitar of yours.:D

Oh I don't know. I just dig mine so I recommend it. I used to have a digital delay but the analog carbon copy is really warm and enhances my tone. I found the dl-4 was too bright and didn't complement the nice gretsch tone!

Best pedal investment you'll ever make to improve your overall sound--- and you'll still have enough left over to go to Wendy's or Burger King for lunch....

I'm not too sure what an envelope filter does. Please enlighten me, Caeman.

I'va also considered a Small Clone and/or a Big Muff.

An envelope filter brings the funk. Great on a bass.

I'd go and see an incredible band. Get inspired. Then buy some records to up, up, up the creative juice. Then spend the rest on ordering pizza for a week while you write BETTER songs than the band you saw, and plan to record BETTER records than the ones you bought.

Combining your two recent topics, you could get a ukulele. It's hard to be sad while playing a uke! Channel your inner Jake Shimabukuro.

Wow!, A hundred bucks? And no children are asking you to go to Chucky Cheese? The wife dont want a manicure? dog dont need shots? Tires arent flat? Roof dont leak? Its good to be you. I cant remember the last time I could actually say out loud, "I have a hundred bucks to blow!". I think Clinton was president. Donate it to some homeless family. Better yet, get them the sonic stomp!

I have yet to get something. The longer I wait, the longer I feel compelled to use it for something for my family. I just don't have anything I really want at the moment.
Pretty happy with my setup, so I'm not even sure I want any pedals.
Here's a possibility. I just email RuttersGuitars.com to see if they route their guitar bodies for sale. I'm seriously considering to start building a telemaster.

So, the sonic stomp:

"The Sonic Stomp is a stomp-box version of our ever-popular Sonic Maximizer. The Sonic Stomp was carefully designed to deliver the same sonic improvement as our rack-mounted 482i Sonic Maximizer, adding clarity, definition and punch to any instrument."

Nice advertising and buzz, but what does it actually do? I mean actually. Sounds like a pre-set EQ and DB boost or something.

How about a pocket recorder?
If you don't have one alreade: a Zoom Z1 should be within reach, or a used Boss MicroBR.:)

As I understand it....
The Stomp/maximizer works on the premise different frequencies travel at different speeds.
It's not an EQ. but for convenience sake splits up the signal into Hi and Lo frequencies and corrects the timing(for lack of better word), in relation to eachother.

Not sure I'd need a Sonic Stomp as I have the new Billy Brain.
