Michiel July 20th, 2011, 01:26 PM Gather ye good folk for the 2011 North-European Roundup!
As in previous years, the Roundup will be held in the Hotel/Restaurant 'De Steenen Man' (http://www.hotelsteenenman.nl/) in the small village of Zurich (http://maps.google.nl/maps?q=zurich,+nederland&hl=nl&ll=53.039562,5.262451&spn=1.093252,2.120361&t=h&z=9), the Netherlands (not to be confused with the somewhat larger city of Zurich, Switzerland!).
The weekend selected for this year's roundup is 24/25 september 2011.
The roundup event is registered also in the 'happenings' section of GDP (http://gretschpages.com/happenings/85/). Keep an eye on that spot for the latest updates!
Don't miss this event. It's a great opportunity to meet and jam with the people you've already met and talked to on the forum. If you can come, COME!
There will be backline present and tons of gear around to try out!
Some impressions of last year:

Sarah93003 July 20th, 2011, 03:17 PM Such fun! I wish I was do for a vacation!
6stings July 20th, 2011, 04:00 PM That sounds good Michiel. It would be fun to be there!
dazzajl July 20th, 2011, 04:29 PM This sounds like a right old blast.
I wonder if anyone from this neck of the woods would be up for sharing a car and making a road trip out of it???
beatnik July 20th, 2011, 04:46 PM This sounds like a right old blast.
I wonder if anyone from this neck of the woods would be up for sharing a car and making a road trip out of it???
id certainly consider it depending on funds
MatchlessMan July 20th, 2011, 05:16 PM Dazzajl, Beatnik - I am free that weekend, and could easily accommodate 3 guitars plus luggage in my huge estate car - this would bring the ferry and fuel costs-per-head right down.
Michiel - we need more info! Do we have to join the Gretsch Pages to be eligible!?
Michiel July 21st, 2011, 12:17 AM Ha! I smell a roadtrip brewing!:D
You won't have to sign up on GDP to be allowed in. All you have to do is like Gretsches. Even bringing one is optional, but it will certainly be appreciated.
Oh and one thing I learned last year: bring guitarstands!:)
Really guys, this is an unforgettable experience and totally worth every mile you have to drive to get there.:D
gigatron July 21st, 2011, 11:29 AM I'd like to come, but my department is organizing a conference that weekend. :(
Michiel July 21st, 2011, 02:20 PM Aww, that's a bummer Gigatron!
Can't you just skip that weekend?;)
gigatron July 21st, 2011, 11:58 PM I guess I could, but I could never come home again.
Ric12String July 22nd, 2011, 12:18 AM Oh, my oh my, is that awfully tempting. There is hardly a place that I prefer to be than in Europe. And the chance to mix a bit of travel with a Gretsch obsession (did I really say that? I think that I meant "passion") sounds pretty special. You guys look in those photos like you were having more fun than a fellow should be allowed by law to have. Pretty darn cool, Michiel!
Maybe some of you British and Europeans are headed west to the States in a couple of months and want to get in your surf guitar licks before heading back home. Check out the Northern California Roundup at this thread (http://www.gretsch-talk.com/forum/gretschtogether/45004-kowabunga-surfs-up-2011-northern-california-roundup.html). Or check it out over on the Gretsch Pages at this thread (http://gretschpages.com/forum/meet-greet/kowabunga-the-surfs-up-so-it-must-be-time-for-the-2011-northern-california-roundup/41780/page1/). Surf's Up!
Michiel July 22nd, 2011, 02:27 AM Hey Bob, that would be fantastic: 16-18 at Clair's place (http://www.gretsch-talk.com/forum/gretschtogether/45004-kowabunga-surfs-up-2011-northern-california-roundup.html), 24/25 here (http://gretschpages.com/happenings/85/) in .nl and then 29/30 to the Nashville roundup (http://gretschpages.com/happenings/2011-nashville-roundup/)! :D
We'll always have a stretcher and a warm meal ready for you if you decide to come over! :)
Michiel July 22nd, 2011, 02:27 AM I guess I could, but I could never come home again.
Ever thought about moving? ;)
gigatron July 22nd, 2011, 07:52 AM We're moving next month, but I still have the same old job.
Michiel July 22nd, 2011, 09:36 AM Haha, I had no idea :D
Michiel July 25th, 2011, 05:13 AM Ratrod updated the 'happenings' section on GDP with his contact info in case you want to stay over at the venue. He arranges a discount price for us (tbd: depends on no. of people who attend).
Contact Ratrod if you want to join!
Here is the link: http://gretschpages.com/happenings/85/

This sounds like a right old blast.
I wonder if anyone from this neck of the woods would be up for sharing a car and making a road trip out of it???
MatchlessMan, beatnik, dazzajl: how are your plans coming along?
Ratrod of GDP is making a list of people who want to come and people who want to stay. Could you shoot him a message of your plans?
Contact info here: http://gretschpages.com/happenings/85/
Michiel July 25th, 2011, 09:43 AM That sounds good Michiel. It would be fun to be there!
Same for you 6strings: can you shoot Ratrod a mail with your plans?

dazzajl July 25th, 2011, 09:55 AM MatchlessMan, beatnik, dazzajl: how are your plans coming along?

Well Graeme mailed me saying pretty much what he's said here and I left it sitting on the back burner. I will get a shift on with mailing back and seeing if there's a solid plan to be had.
I think I can probably speak for all of us in that as we'd have to stay somewhere, the hosting hotel would be the first place to check out.
Michiel August 5th, 2011, 04:01 AM Bumpetybump!
6stings August 13th, 2011, 10:09 AM 24/25 sept, Saturday/Sunday, I think I can make it too.
I need a cuople of days to clear my calendar before & after the Roundup:)
Can my sons come too?
Michiel August 13th, 2011, 01:51 PM Darko, that is GREAT news!:D:D
I'm sure your kids are welcome, but I suggest to inform Ratrod they are.
IIRC, they play too, don't they?:)

No, but they have heard about the raven and the redhead:D
You haven't seen my crazy Fam-Jam vids where we 3 make noise?
If everything goes fine, I'm comming with one more guitar player and one drummer.
It's 12 hour drive from here, but that's not a problem.
I'll contact Ratrod as soon as they check their calendar, if there's still place for more players...

MatchlessMan August 21st, 2011, 05:12 AM Dazzajl and I have our ferry crossings booked! Our names are down for De Steenen Man, just awaiting confirmation on that.
Roll on the Gretschy jamming! :):):):)
Michiel August 24th, 2011, 09:09 AM Excellent! Looking forward to meeting you guys at the roundup!:D
6stings August 25th, 2011, 09:46 PM Working on the case...
Michiel August 28th, 2011, 05:15 AM Cool, I hope you can make it!
6stings August 30th, 2011, 12:27 PM We were realy looking forward to jam a little with you crazy Gretschacholics, but unfortunately, we can't come this time.
I got the message today that I have to be in Oslo, Friday 23rd, freakin' National conference. Of all days, they had to pick that one. I'm expected to be there, of course.
I had to cancel ferry seats today and emailed this afternoon to Ratrod about the whole thing.
Have fun in Zurich, all of you.
Michiel August 30th, 2011, 01:21 PM Oh man Darko, that's a huge bummer! I'd hoped you could make it. BAAAAD planning on their part. But there's always next year!:)
6stings August 30th, 2011, 02:35 PM Oh man Darko, that's a huge bummer! I'd hoped you could make it. BAAAAD planning on their part. But there's always next year!:)
Man, these all-work-no-play bosses are real pain in the... We had a regional meeting last week and noone said anything about the national meeting in September, we all tought there won't be any before December.
My sons got for 2 days off at school/university, I saved some vacation days too, my wife said 'have fun boys', and now this.
Maybe I'll figure out something with the help of Stoli next week in St Petersburg:D
MatchlessMan August 30th, 2011, 04:41 PM Having looked at Michiel's jazz song list on The Gretsch Pages, is anyone else up for some country/rock or 60s content at the North European Roundup?
I enjoy listening to jazz (though it's not my strongest point as a player) but I do know quite a few songs that might be less intimidating to some guitarists - I'll even sing them if you like!
I'll be happy to bring lyric/chord sheets too.:)
Michiel September 1st, 2011, 12:31 PM Hey MatchlessMan, those were just some suggestions. I'd definitely be open for other genres. I'd need some suggestions and some guidance tho. The only stuff I know from that era, besides a couple of jazz evergreens, are fingerpicking versions of 'blackbird' and 'norwegean wood'.;)
MatchlessMan September 2nd, 2011, 09:40 AM Excellent, Michiel I will PM a short list of suggestions when I get home. Will also sort out some 'lead sheets'.
Crocodile in space September 17th, 2011, 11:04 AM AARGH - I wish I could be there with you this year! Unfortunately there is nothing in my piggy bank except a couple of buttons, and the rest of this year is going to be a tough one, financially. It's a shame, because there is nowhere more beautiful than the Dutch countryside. :)
Enjoy yourselves, everybody, and I'll plan well in advance for next year.
MatchlessMan September 19th, 2011, 01:08 PM Passport - check.
Ferry tickets - check.
Euros - check.
Gretsch geetars - check.

Last days I was at home mostly with a flu.
So I've been preparing a bit for the trip. So much stuff to lug along!
Amps, guitars, speakers, tubes, tools, cables, stands. I hope it all fits into the car.
Also made some final tweaks and mods to the BMR and the Viking. Both are sounding great now, so I'm stoked to bring them along.:D
araT September 20th, 2011, 09:02 AM Have fun guys! hopefully with a little luck I'll be able to make the next one :D
Michiel September 20th, 2011, 09:09 AM We're counting on ya, sister! :D
Michiel September 23rd, 2011, 08:16 AM Last Call for the Euro Roundup 24/25 september 2011!

If you have other engagements, cancel them and COME!
If you are halfway across the globe and still have to book your ticket, COME!
Sign up through the 'happenings page (http://gretschpages.com/happenings/85/)' on GDP.
Or drop by unannounced at Hotel De Steenen Man in Zurich, the Netherlands (http://www.hotelsteenenman.nl/). You will be welcomed warmly by kindred spirits that share your love for Gretsch, guitars, amps and pretty much any genre of music.
See you tomorrow then!:)
dazzajl September 23rd, 2011, 12:48 PM Some of us have a head start and are just about to taste the first beer after a loooooong road trip. :)

Crocodile in space September 26th, 2011, 05:00 AM Michiel, thankyou so much for going to all the trouble of posting these pictures! It looks like you had a fantastic weekend, and seeing all these photos has made me even more determined to make it to the next one...
Really excellent photos, Michiel, and thankyou!
Cheers,
Peter
Michiel September 26th, 2011, 05:28 AM My pleasure Croc! Hope to meet you at the next Roundup. Where in the UK do you live? I'm sure we'll see Matchless Man and Dazzajl from the Bristol area again next year.:D
In the mean time Will's photo album has come up: -> linky (http://s678.photobucket.com/albums/vv147/barewires/Round-Up%202011/)
Sarah93003 September 26th, 2011, 07:16 AM Thanks so much for the photos and videos!! It looks like you had an awesome time and I wish I could have been there. So much fun!
araT September 26th, 2011, 08:09 AM Fantastic photos, videos & write-up Michiel, looks like you all had an absolute blast! :D
I so wish I could have been there, I'll definitely make it to the next one granted we've bought a car by then..
Michiel September 26th, 2011, 08:29 AM Tara, you could consider taking the train as well.
There's a direct train between A'dam and Amersfoort and I think it takes about 6 hours.
I could pick you up at Amersfoort.
Only downside would be that you'd be limited in the amount of gear you can bring (as my car will be stuffed to the brim. There's no limit on what you can carry aboard the train ;):D).
But as you can see there will be enough flavours of jets to keep you entertained all through the night.
BTW, Ratrod just baptised Will's penguin the 'Pimp Jet'. :D
MaBerY September 26th, 2011, 08:42 AM Thank you all guys there in Zurich
I had great fun!
Too little time to talk with everyone. Too much fun playing
Took some awful pictures ;-)
Euro Roundup Pics (http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/ll225/PH0MB/Gretsch%202011%20Euro%20Roundup/)
Until next year!
And then I'll bring some vintage amp gear I'm restoring now
MaBerY
Michiel September 26th, 2011, 08:53 AM Ha, great, thanks for the pics MaBerY!
Yeah, it was hard to take pics in that dark pub, but at least the people (and gear) are very recognizable. And that's what counts.:D
I'm looking forward to your vintage. What are you restoring?
TV the Wired Turtle September 26th, 2011, 09:06 AM really loved that and yes thanks for taking the time to include all the media, it lets us "in"
classicrock September 26th, 2011, 09:16 AM Wow excellent travel log I really enjoyed all the pictures and videos. Now I know for sure I need to go to one of these. Thanks for the great posts Michiel!!!
Michiel September 26th, 2011, 10:07 AM Thanks so much for the photos and videos!! It looks like you had an awesome time and I wish I could have been there. So much fun!
Haha, one roundup is not enough, eh?
Maybe next year we can organize a tour around the various roundups. THAT would be something, wouldn't it?:D
really loved that and yes thanks for taking the time to include all the media, it lets us "in"
My pleasure Tavo, glad you liked it.:)
Wow excellent travel log I really enjoyed all the pictures and videos. Now I know for sure I need to go to one of these. Thanks for the great posts Michiel!!!
Yes, you do classicrock. These events become lifetime memories. :)
And, my pleasure!
Jhundt September 26th, 2011, 10:12 AM I can't believe I missed this! I guess I just wasn't checking the Gretsch sites, or maybe looking at the wrong pages on the forums.
Does anyone keep a mailing-list for this event? I would sure like to sign up for the next one...
beatnik September 26th, 2011, 10:29 AM looks like u had a ball (and a biscuit) ill def try and make the next one maybe squeeze in with dazza and matchlessman you never know i may even finish my jet by then :)
gigatron September 26th, 2011, 11:07 AM Dang! I'm sorry I missed it. I also missed the conference I was supposed to go to instead. I hurt my back last Wednesday and have been flat on my back in bed since then (it's not easy playing guitar when you can't sit or stand).
Next time, I hope!

Yeah, see, taking gear on a train won't be easy.. I'd maybe manage one guitar & that would be it, no fun! We should have a car by this time next year though (in fact, probably in the next months) so it should be all good ;)
Hahahah Pimp Jet! I love it :D

I'm currently restoring a neglected '68 schaller KV-50-ST which was missing it's drum echo disc and having some badly worn heads
Power amp is already fixed and cleaned up
I also needs retolexing. Original goodmans speakers still in good shape
I have the one on the left.
http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll225/PH0MB/Schaller%20KV50ST/KV50STCabs.png
Also a Dynacord Echo 62 needing some cleanup and refurbishing
and a very neglegted Geloso 227 saved from the tomato greenhouse which I turned into a bassman head
http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll225/PH0MB/Geloso%20G-227-A/IMG_1922.jpg
It was literaly filled with bugs and spiders and i totally stripped and sandblasted the chassis parts
it's starting to look like something

We're not keeping a mailing list unfortunately. You'll have to poll the forums every now and then. Usually this event happens somewhere in september.

Excellent! Looking forward to meeting you at the next roundup. Jet or no jet!:)

Ah, that sucks gigatron.
Is it getting better yet?
Get well soon!
Yeah, see, taking gear on a train won't be easy.. I'd maybe manage one guitar & that would be it, no fun! We should have a car by this time next year though (in fact, probably in the next months) so it should be all good
One word of advice: try stick to driving at the right hand side of the road.;)
And we'll be expecting you next year with a large contingent of guitars!:D

Oh wow, those are some serious projects!
Can you still get those disks for the schaller? From what I read they're terribly hard to find! I didn't know it had a built-in oil can echo (http://gretschpages.com/forum/other-equipment/oil-can-delay/43619/page1/); sweet!
Hey, I've got to say: that Geloso showed some serious mojo before.:D
What made you decide to strip and refinish it?

I live up in the highlands of Scotland, so a ferry to somewhere in Germany would probably be my best bet. It would be quicker to fly, but I love boat journeys, so I'll be doing it that way, I think! :)
I will make time today to watch all of the clips which you have uploaded (once again, thankyou for going to all that effort for us!) - I'm already looking forward to it!
Cheers
Ricochet September 27th, 2011, 05:27 AM Meh... no blueberry pie...
Just kidding, looks like a funfilled weekend. Maybe next time I'll show my ugly mug.:)
6stings September 27th, 2011, 01:38 PM Guy's, it's nice to see and hear that you had a realy good time!
Good vids! Hey where were the out-takes, I want to see those:D
Next time I will be there!
MatchlessMan September 27th, 2011, 02:22 PM What a blast that was! Already counting down to Euro Roundup 2012:)

Excellent, sounds like a great plan! Are there any ferries to Den Helder? That would probably be the fastest way. Looking forward to meeting you at the next roundup, Croc!
Maybe next time I'll show my ugly mug.
Oh, but if THAT's what you're worried about, I'd be happy to bring a paper bag for you to the next roundup.:D
Nah, would be great to meet you there too Rich!
Guy's, it's nice to see and hear that you had a realy good time!

These were the outtakes!
I kept the snippets short. Just enough to give you an impression but not bore you to death with our incessant noodling.;)
What a blast that was! Already counting down to Euro Roundup 2012
It was Graeme, it WAS. It was great to finally get to meet you. And your singing and playing was a great addition to the atmosphere!
BTW, earlier this year there was talk of doing an early spring roundup as well in one of the southern parts of the Netherlands (Zeeland). Maybe we can rekindle that idea and spark someone down there to pick up the gauntlet.;)

How about a little further south? Not everybody lives up there by the North Pole, you know! :(
beatnik September 27th, 2011, 03:41 PM what about a UK roundup?
Michiel September 27th, 2011, 03:48 PM That's a great idea Beatnik.:)
Incedently, my company has offices in Swindon and Edinburgh. A roundup in the area of either would be very convenient, haha.;)

The schaller has a disc plate like a binson and not an oil can type
I found a guy in sweden who repairs them and I figured out how he did it.
He was very willing to help me out and figured out the correct dimensions
So I turned one myself on my dad's lathe. (I have one myself now, a vintage '55 Myford Super7)
the result after winding thin steel wire recorder wire on the disk

Hahahaha.. I went car window-shopping today, and I noticed something strange, the car manufacturers up here must be hitting the vodka early because they keep putting the steering wheel on the passenger side!:cool:
Ricochet September 27th, 2011, 05:45 PM Oh, but if THAT's what you're worried about, I'd be happy to bring a paper bag for you to the next roundup.:D
Ohh, a reference to my inability to play my way OUT of one? ;)

Hahahaha.. I went car window-shopping today, and I noticed something strange, the car manufacturers up here must be hitting the vodka early because they keep putting the steering wheel on the passenger side!
Yes, welcome to Europe where the passengers drive the car.;)
We actually have cars with a single steering wheel on the left back seat.
...
OK, we don't.:D
Ohh, a reference to my inability to play my way OUT of one? ;)
Can you play 'Paper Bag Writer'?:p

My house is in Swindon! And Darren's isn't too far...
Michiel September 28th, 2011, 01:53 PM My house is in Swindon! And Darren's isn't too far...
Great, I'll need to find an excuse to visit the Swindon office!:D
I'll be in Edinburgh probably around 10/11 november, but that'd be quite a drive.
MaBerY September 28th, 2011, 03:08 PM Wow, that looks like a great job. Did you try it out yet?
It turns, but most of the heads are toast. The erase head and driver head are OK
I have a set of new replacment heads, but they need some tweaks and M2 screwcutting to fit in.
The electronics seems OK but need some testing when the heads are refitted.
It's a slow running project , but I'm not in a hurry. Due to space problems in my shack, it's now in our band rehearsal room
now working on a paint job of this rusty animal's case. probably resided in that same tomato greenhouse :D
The caps and selenium rectifier probably needs to be replaced too.

Mix that with No Speed Limit and yoohoo:D
Just came back from your naborhood with the trunkload of Tilsiter Käse, by the way, next time I'll drive to Berlin

Madeira?

Funny: just spotted this Schaller KV50 (http://muziek.marktplaats.nl/versterkers-bas-en-gitaar/487557223-schaller-kv50-buizen-versterker.html) for sale just around the corner from me. I'm curious now if the echo is in working condition at all.

It has a selenium recrifier?
During catastrophic failure they produced significant quantities of malodorous and highly toxic fumes that let the repair technician know what the problem was.
You see those pop up on marktplaats too from time to time.
Looks like you're giving it a lot of TLC to bring it back to life.

That no speed limit on the autobahn is the only reason germany exists.
(according to Jeremy Clarkson anyway ;))
Madeira?
Madeira sounds nice. Never been there!

Yup, that's why I rip those selenium bridges apart and replace the selenium with 4 regular silicon HV diodes. Still looks the same as it used to, but much more reliable.
Beware that a schaller KV50 is a full tube equipped animal with a totally, hard to restore echo drum. It's covered with a thin magnetic iron oxide layer which is fragile
The KV50-ST is a hybrid carrying a tube power amp (2xEL34) and a transistorized preamp section. The internal echo unit is a italian Davoli unit
Michiel September 29th, 2011, 03:49 AM ... in other words: avoid if echo drum broken. ;)
Noted!:)

Why can't the next EuRoundup take place somewhere in Germany? Hanover?
Too far to Madeira, it is nice and warm there but little too far
Who's Jeremy?
Michiel September 29th, 2011, 05:36 AM That's this gentleman (http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Clarkson).

Interesting!:)
I posted that link without reading it. I didn't even notice that it was in Dutch.
Here's the one in english (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Clarkson).
6stings September 29th, 2011, 07:21 AM M, is that a Post-Roundup-Syndrom? I was kidding man, of course I know who 'the knuffel' is: the guy who couldn't find a better way to get a chance to drive all the cars he want. I have see the show a couple of times, I don't know what makes these guys car-experts:D
gigatron September 29th, 2011, 07:27 AM I vote for Munich.
6stings September 29th, 2011, 08:01 AM :DI vote for Munich.
giga, 500 km for you and 1500 km for me?
I say Göttingen! 900 km for giga, 1000 km for me. I'll come faster anyway :D
Michiel September 29th, 2011, 08:04 AM M, is that a Post-Roundup-Syndrom?
Must be. I'm still not 'up' 100%.;)

I figured you would.
What makes them experts is that they don't seem to give a rat's a$$.;)
Michiel September 29th, 2011, 08:06 AM BTW, Munich?!
Göttingen would probably work. That's a 4h drive for me.
gigatron September 29th, 2011, 08:39 AM Last time I drove to Zurich (Netherlands) it was a two day (each way) drive for me.
Michiel September 29th, 2011, 11:34 AM Wow, gigatron. THAT's what I call committed!:)
Was that before or after you discovered it was in Zurich, NL?;)
araT September 29th, 2011, 11:34 AM Mix that with No Speed Limit and yoohoo:D
Just came back from your naborhood with the trunkload of Tilsiter Käse, by the way, next time I'll drive to Berlin
Aha! nice! Yes, definitely make a detour here next time, the Jets & I would love to grab a bier with you :D
gigatron September 29th, 2011, 11:53 AM Michiel, I said I would come before I discovered it wasn't the other Zurich, but then afterwards I thought it would be a nice way to see some of Europe. I learned you don't see much of Europe from the autobahn.
Hey, I just had a great idea! How about Berlin?
araT September 29th, 2011, 11:54 AM YES! GREAT idea Giga!! Lets do the next one in Berlin! :D :D :D :D
6stings September 29th, 2011, 12:05 PM Yes, I vote for Berlin!

Hey, I just had a great idea! How about Berlin?
Yeah, on the autobahn you really need to concentrate on avoiding swerving slowpokes and not getting hit by speed maniacs. ;)
Not much time for sightseeing.
Berlin sounds like a cool idea. All we need is someone who can do the on-site organisation of the event.
Not sure how the other folks will react, but I can suggest Berlin to 'em.:)
araT September 29th, 2011, 12:51 PM If I learn German a little faster I might be able to take care of the on-site stuff.. but as it is right now I'm pretty useless :o
6stings September 29th, 2011, 01:24 PM Aha! nice! Yes, definitely make a detour here next time, the Jets & I would love to grab a bier with you :D
I sure will, thanks! I drove from Lübeck to Schwerin and thought about it, but I spent too much time watching the ducks running on water arround the Schweriner schloss:D
We'll grab some Duckstein next time:)
BTW, only 3 Gretsches at Soundhouse Lübeck, but realy nice trio:
G6196T Country Club Cadillac Green
G6128T-TVPDuo
Tim Armstrong G5191BK
ishtar September 29th, 2011, 09:05 PM Fantastic, Michiel and all! Maybe the next time I get over the pond I can time it to attend one of these get togethers....
Flynnski October 2nd, 2011, 01:01 AM what about a UK roundup?
great !
