Does anyone have a 1" chrome Bigsby spring they'd like to sell? I have the shorter one in there now and want to raise the arm a bit.

Works like a charm. :) Theo 413 July 16th, 2011, 10:15 AM Put a penny under the spring. Works like a charm. :) I second that! HHudson July 16th, 2011, 10:58 AM Ditto penny, and move the plastic washer to the top around the arm screw/spring. Still not enough? 1" springs can be found on the Bay for around $7-8 sometimes less inclusive shipping in the US. weazel July 16th, 2011, 11:13 AM Can you get a penny outside of the uk, if not i can sell you one for £1 ha ha HHudson July 16th, 2011, 11:29 AM ;) a 2 Cent Euro piece will work on some Bigsbys, it's a bit too thick for the lip on some, Latvian 5 Santimi pieces fit perfectly, as do some pre Euro Dutch coins, can't remember which I've used though.. if you've traveled a bit just go through your coin jar and you are bound to find several perfect fits.. bluenote23 July 16th, 2011, 05:19 PM Next time you're in NYC, drop into Manny's Repair shop (just around the corner from the 48th street store). I got a couple of springs there for $5 or $6 each. freddyfingers July 17th, 2011, 04:22 PM Why are guys always looking to get a bigger spring? nadles July 17th, 2011, 05:01 PM I got mine from Parts is parts - $10.00.
