hi ladies and gents i need a jet picture side on so i can work out the neck angle for my build so for example if someone was to lay there jet flat on a table and take a picture crouched down so u can only see the side of the body but of the whole guitar if that makes sense thanks in advance to whoever can help me out

duo if possible, are the neck angles the same?

the double cut jets are not the same as the duo with the overhanging fretboard so maybe they are similar to the pro's

those pictures are no good unfortunately mate thanks anyway i need to be able to draw lines on the pictures and work it out from that, ive just had an idea though that might work

if u go to the jet group theres some good pics on there of double cuts so u can see how the neck joins the body but no pics i can use, i just did some calculating using some measurements i got off sandy and if im right i reckon the neck angle is around 4 degrees hopefully i can get a pic to confirm it b4 i have to rout the neck pocket

Hard to tell from the pictures but, the neck angle looks to be greater than 14 degrees. Maybe its just the pictures I am seeing from that angle.

beatnik, your measurements are OK, it should be 4 to 4.5 degrees.
It's difficult to be 100% sure if you check only neck-to-top of the body, I think you better check neck-to-back of the body angle, since the back is flat...

The double cut Jets have the same overhanging neck as the Duo.

ah the pro jet neck is definitely flatter to the body than the duo jet

beatnik, your measurements are OK, it should be 4 to 4.5 degrees.
It's difficult to be 100% sure if you check only neck-to-top of the body, I think you better check neck-to-back of the body angle, since the back is flat...

i got 4.07degrees from my measurements, and i know the fingerboard overhangs on the double but not to the same extent as the single cut duos
