Hey over the pond, in the early 90's there was this most charming and lovely English indie rock band called the Sundays.
Haven't heard hide nor hair for ages! Do they still gig out there? Any word?
...just out of curiosity.

I don't have an answer for you, but Harriet Wheeler had an amazing, haunting voice.
I love Summertime and Here's adhere the Story Ends, but most of all I love their cover of Wild Horses. Just amazing.

The Sundays were great listening. Did Harriet do any singing on her own or with others besides the Sundays?

Harriet Wheeler had an amazing, haunting voice.
Harriet Wheeler also had an amazingly beautiful face.
I used to spend a lot of my time figuring out their songs. Neat little licks and nice chord work. They were Johnny Marr for us guitar players who couldn't figure out Johnny Marr.
This tune I always thought was their best:

As far as I can ascertain from an interweb search, since last heard from she & husband David (the guitarist) have 2 kids and haven't done anything else muscially.
