Ok so I didnt use my Gretsch, in fact other than a bass guitar there is no guitar on here at all so it may be a bit off topic but I did this today and I was so pleased with how it came out I wanna share it with as many of you good people as possible! I respect all and everyones musical opinion but certainly you guys top the list.

I like it.
I understand what you were going for with the piano, but 2.30 minutes of it was getting on my nerves.
Maybe you could vary the pianopart to build up to the 2.30 point where the rest comes in? Start with some single notes and slowly build up the complexity of the chords? Add some fx(reverb?) in the first few bars to help build the pathos?

I definatly get what you mean man. Its something I'l have a play around with, I dont have a set idea in mind but hopefuly I can stumble across something. I was also thinking about a David Gilmour/Comfortably numb style solo for the second half of it but after a few attempts of putting guitar to it with no luck I think I might just leave that bit. Maybe just add ambience.
Anyway cheers for having a listen, I really appreciate it.

i like it too, i understand what ricochet is saying as it stands it would probably work better as part of a film score rather than an album track but the potential is definitely there, i see what u mean about adding a guitar solo i think that could work if u get it right theres a song i know that might give u a few ideas for the solo if i can remember what its called ill let u know, but good job!

here it might not be what u r into but listen to this from 6 minutes 35 seconds if u took the distortion off and adjusted the tempo this kind of thing would fit beautifully on your track, when i listen to your song this is what came into my head
