We have a new amp in the lineup: the de Lisle 35P, a 35W 6L6-GC push-pull amp that also drops down to 12W single-ended. It uses the standard preamp of our larger amps: 12AX7 with an EF86, Bass, Contour and Treble controls. It also features a preamp boost, pentode-triode switch for the EF86 and a switched Presence circuit. Made in Zionsville, IN USA with a lifetime warranty. The combo is $1349.00 or $1,549.00 with reverb. Head versions are also available from $1,199.00. More info/pics on the site (http://www.delisleguitar.com/index.php/amps).

Not that I can afford one right now, but does your Reverb mod fit on this model?

Yep. This one actually has reverb built in. The tank in the bottom of the cabinet.

Here's a larger shot of the control panel. Reverb is third from the left.

I'm trying to console myself with the belief that it would be impossibly expensive to ship one of those to Europe.

At 25" x 25" x 16" and 55 lbs boxed, UPS wants $874.18. I'm sure there are less expensive alternatives out there. Only $387.00 to the UK.

Looks like a realy nice combo!

As for the shipping to Europe, it can be shipped for $170-$200 by USPS Priority Mail International, but they have $650 insurance limit.
FedEx has great prices too and little better insurance.

UPS and DHL are too expensive.

I got my 2x12 cabinets shipped by USPS from US, they have the same weight as this beauty. No problem at all. If the corners are protected and everything double-boxed, then everithing's OK.

Will you be so kind and check USPS and FedEx shipping to Norway?
My postal code is 4550 Farsund.

Thanks, 6stings.

The insurance cap is really the issue with Priority Mail International. Even Express Mail is capped at $650.00 to Norway. Global Express Guaranteed is the only fully insured option at about $450.00. ($387.00 to the UK was also the only fully insured option.) We don't ship domestically with FedEx, so we don't have a discounted rate. Their website shows a book rate of $521.78.

Congrats, Gary! Back behind the wheel?

The guy who ended up with this one is local...and a much better player than me. I'll float the clip idea by him.

Nah, EL34 or 6L6. I can build it with either. I just like those beam power tubes right now :)

Here's a 35P review:

This amp crackles with life. Every note rings out with a serene beauty that can only be attributed to some kind of mystical force. It’s hard to imagine or accept that such a living breathing sound can come from wires and capacitors. I would be surprised if I dropped it and it didn’t bleed because tone so pure must have a heart. When you play that giant open E chord, your hair will stand at full attention. Every hair and pore will anticipate that next volume laden assault of pure unadulterated tone. I would question the sanity of any guitarist that doesn’t fall head over heels for one of these delectable masterpieces upon first exposure. Surely such an admission would be an act of musical treason; psychic vandalism if you will. If I were king, I’d mandate that everyone pay tribute to these magnificent amps with a World Wide de Lisle Amp Appreciation Day. I play country, rock, blues, and something loosely resembling jazz and I can traverse these styles with relative ease with my 35P. Get one, but be forewarned, it will not just be a commercial transaction, it will be a pivotal moment in your musical destiny. Are you ready?

Thanks, all!

Here's another custom color (Double Nickel). Also working on a red sparkle combo with white cane grill and a white combo with blue/black grill (I really like that one).
