They look bullet-proof to me. Looking inside, everything is perfect. I DO know they are using Mercury Magnets for power & Skip (mad scientist/builder) said they are "over-built" to handle anything. He's sent a few out on the road with some local touring guitar players to make sure they can take it, and so far no problems at all.
I really do love the tone of this amp. Makes me want one BAD!!!!

I've been using Marshalls for over 30 years. My favorite is a 1978 Marshall 100 watt master volume lead that I purchase new. It's been all over hell and back and had just about every cocktail know to man dump down the vents. When she gets hot, it smells like a rock and roll bar!!!

Never ever had a problem with it and it's just the best sounding amp I ever played period. Any guitar, at any setting sounds better through one of these in my opinion.

As for guitars I use right now:
1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom Fretless Wonder ( bought this new for $800.00 )
Black Beauty

1992 Rickenbacker 360 12 full binding, R tail piece and the vintage toaster pick ups ( wife had this custom made for me for my 40th birthday, yep...just turned 60 a few days ago...holy crap...where did the time go!! )

Epiphone Korina Explorer ( actually a pretty nice guitar, I bought this new for a string break spare during the shows )

Fender Stratacoustic, alright but not great. Nice sound though.

I just got this. Another custom order from my wife for my 60th.
A Gretsch 6122ii Chet Atkins Country Gentleman. This thing is really nice. Haven't had a lot of chance to play it yet but I can tell I will really like it. First Gretsch for me.

I have 4 Marshall amps
1 old Fender Bandmaster I bought new when I was 16. Still looks great.
1 Sound City 50 Plus with the very rare 6/10 cabinet, bought new also.

And I just got one of those Fender G-DEC 30 amps with the play along back ground tracks built in. Real fun for playing at parties and such and you don't have to put up with any pain in the ass band memebers!!

I use to play pro during the 70's and 80's and now have a 3 piece party band. We gig out maybe once a month so I'm still out there rocking!!

I think I had just about every amp that was made in the 70's on stage at one time or another. I had a great relationship with one of the music stores and they would loan me a new amp just about every week to try out.

As soon as I plugged into that Marshall 100 watter, I knew I had finally found the sound. That with a Les Paul, Vox Wha and a Boss OD-1 was and still is rock and roll heaven as far as I'm concerned. Crank that puppy to around 7 and hang on!!

Sounds really nice. A bit heavy for my cup of tea.

I think it’s hysterical how the poor little kid is getting her ears blown out. I like the sense of humor to the production, too.

Chris, is that you and your daughter in the vid?

So the little girl is wearing ear protection? I mean...she's right down there at speaker level.

Oh, sorry, that amp is killer! I love it! Or was it just the player? I think it's mostly the player.

wow.. ear plugs for the kid might be in order! On the amp, I'd like to
hear the less fizzy sounds/side of the amp, like having the master 2/3rds of the way up with
a scootch of gain. I'm a fan of power tube crunch and kerrang. Oh.. and this is a gretsch forum, where is the gretsch, gretsch, gretsch, gretsch!
