Gretsch Inspired Cab for Tweed Princeton
A while ago I decided to make a new cab for my Tweed Princeton Clone. My inspiration was the Gretsch Cowboy amp.

I love it! Any plans to put some cowboy s%*t on it? Tooled leather studded belt? Bull horns? Brandin' iron?

This is FANTASTIC! I always loved the way those old amps looks. You nailed it, and possibly made it even better.

That looks fantastic! I've done tolexing myself and I know how challenging it can be to get it right. You've done an amazingly clean job. Congrats! Did you build the chassis too?

Thanks all, I've been away for the last week and only just seen the recent posts.
I'm not planning any cowboy ornaments, but I am thinking about a car badge of some description to go under the small hole.
The chassis is from Ceriatone (their old champ model), I built the amp as a Tweed Princeton (5F2A) with the following mods:
* Tone control bypass switch (Choice of Princeton or Champ modes).
* Switchable cathode bypass cap (Boost) on V1a to select between 25uf/25, 1uf/25 or no cap (just 1.5K resistor).
* Variable Voltage regulator (VVR) control.
* Switchable NFB
The Boost switch is great addition. With the 1uF cap switched in there is a significant Treble boost.

One of those old Cadillac V emblems would look really good on there??
