PRRI arrived!
I just picked up my new Princeton Reverb this morning, and man, do I sound good playing through it!
I was ready to give up playing altogether when I heard how awful I sounded through a Marshall Class 5 a few weeks ago.
Excuse me while I go and stroke my ego some more.

Congrats on the PRRI,I bet those amps have a great tone and heard they pack a lot of power.

Congrats. I've been interested in those for awhile now. How's the stock speaker?

It sounds fine to me, though I haven't pushed it, and probably won't very often. I thought at first it sounded a bit soft in the bass, until I discovered that the amp sounds best with treble and bass both turned up to 10.

Princeton's have "the" tone. Congratulations.

Congrats! Nice amp. I put in a retube kit from Eurotubes (JJ's) and the amp kicks major butt now. The re-tube seemed to increase the output some and made it "hotter" sounding. Cleans, were clean and crispy, while the overdrive was kicking in loudly as the volume was turned up.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!
I almost bought one of those instead of my DRRI!
Having heard you play, live, I know that amp will serve you well.
Glad it's rejuvenated your enthusiasm.

It was a toss-up between the PRRI and the DRRI. I had bid on a couple of Deluxes on eBay (not many used Princetons for sale in Europe), but finally decided to get the Princeton after a) hearing Jim Campilongo, and b) trying one in Twelfth Fret in Toronto.

Congrats gigatron! The PRRI is a great sounding amp. Even thinking about the Twelfth Fret in Toronto starts the GAS attacks for me.

So Gig, hows the PRRI treating you? I got mine last Monday and I'm liking it more and more for a low powered amp. It breaks up too much for my taste after about 6 on the volume, but at 5 - 6... Oh my!! Really sweet sound. Even the Strat sounds good on it.

I haven't had a chance to play it. I just got back from a 3-day conference in Salzburg.
