Ordered a DeLisle 15P
Alright Guy's, instead of going with a gretsch amp 1600-2500 dollars, I thought Id do a little something different, and a lot less pain in the pocket, Jer will work with you and I pray this will take the hot air out of the gas bubble....and a review at receiving will be the order.....!

dan P: Congrats Dan, can't wait for your review. The DeLisle amps sure seem like they are well built with a lot of thought and engineering involved. Is that going to be a couple of weeks out??

Appears so Pops, asked for a eta, soon as I receive a reply I will post it...just hate to buy a amp Ive never heard anything about, but hes a forum member, builds beautiful guitars and thought to myself, why support gretsch all the time, so we pulled the trigger, his easy payment plan sure works for me, I like the specs, and its made in the good ole USA !

C'mon Dan, do I gotta do my own homework? I know nothing about them but recall someone mentioning, I think these, just the other day and that some one here actually owns the company? Someone who's handle starts with a 'D'?

I will tell you all! I have dealt with Muggsey, and you cannot find a finer man to do business with. He's as honest as day one and will cut you the best deal that he possibly can. No doubt Dan, you got one heck of a deal from him. Of all the guitar stores and such that we have on this forum and the dealers that we refer people to, DeLisle is the first and only one that I seen post an add to the right of forum page. Thank Muggsey, it is dealers like you that keep the forum going!

Dan sounds like a great premise. Hopefully Mugsy will step in if I'm wrong but it sounds like it's based more on the original AC15 then the current CC series are. I do love an EF86 preamp section. I didn't see if it was a seperate channel from the AX7. I think you might like it. That 5 watter sounded good after all!

GentleBen: The de Lise add is on the right side of this forum on many pages. They are nice looking amps.

Jukebox; I listended to the 3 clips he has on the site of the 5 watt amp and it states more clips will be added as time permits. Sounded good but clips to me don't really tell the whole sound story like hands on of course.
We will be in LF on the 26,27 & 28th. I will stop over and give you some grief if nothing else.

Hi RJ:
It's similar to a Vox in that it's powered by 2 EL84s and has a non-negative feedback phase inverter, but it's not based on another amp.
The 12AX7 precedes the EF86 with an unusual tone stack in between. Up to the phase inverter, it's basically the same preamp as the Nickel Box with two small changes: Hi/Lo inputs and a "Contour" control in the tone stack.
And thanks for the kind words, JB I do have some goodies in mind for Dan that aren't on the spec sheet.
