I buy stuff when the prices are good, not when I want to build.
You can get a body you want for 150-200 and up, depending on type of wood, routings, bindings, chambering and your special wishes.
This one is one piece African mahogany, it cost me about 160, can't say for sure 'cause I ordered a couple to save on shipping.
The neck is a brand new Fender Mex.
The DeArmond pickups are not easy to catch, I got these from a guy in Oslo for a 150.
You can figure out all costs.
Thanks D.

Often when looking at the great projects such as yours, I get an urge to do something like that, regardless of the fact that I have no tools, space and most importantly, expertise.

It must be really satisfying when you plug it in for the first time.
